We all have our ways. Our ways of letting our people know we love them. For me, it is food.
It’s bacon and eggs for breakfast, brownies in school lunches and homemade pizza. It is a pan of lasagna for a friend who had surgery, a loaf of sourdough for a friend after a rough day and a buttermilk cake for my sister’s birthday.
If our people are fed, surely they are loved, right? So let’s get cooking and love our people.
Love as food.
I will make this brief because we both know you are here for the food.
Hi, there. Whitney’s the name and food is the game. I have three cool kids and a penchant for ruining their lives with their future spouses by making them food they don’t deserve. I have been married to my boyfriend for 18 years and we like to spend our weekends finding cool restaurants to try out.
Once upon a time, I had another food blog and I wrote a cookbook. If you like what you see here, you will like my book. It’s called “The Family Flavor: 125 Practical Recipes for the Simple and Delicious”. Click for the Amazon link.
I am passionate about the family meal. The food that brings us together at the table and makes everyone feel good. Besides all that, I have the cliche loves like peanut butter, chocolate, Diet Coke and sleeping. Let’s be friends.
